julie-with-dog Julie Forbes is Seattle’s dog behavior, training and nutrition specialist. Graduate of The University of Vermont, with a degree in Animal Science, and owner of Sensitive Dog; Julie conducts in-home private lessons, behavior and nutrition evaluations, as well as an in-home, two-week, intensive training program called “Higher Education”. In addition to Basic Obedience classes, Julie also teaches a just-for-fun agility class and a “Dog Class for Kids”. “Dog Class for Kids” teaches children, ages 7-12, leadership and communication skills, as they learn about dog care, behavior, training and nutrition.

Julie is the creator and host of “The Dog Talk Show - An Evolved Perspective on Life with Dogs”. She also writes a monthly pet column in ‘Mo Magazine, and is the dog training, behavior and nutrition columnist for Examiner.com.

With her two dogs, Chewy, the German shepherd mix and Leia, the dachshund: Julie lives in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood and frequents Seward Park and the Arboretum for quality time with her pack.
